Q. If I Place An Order On-Line Will You Sell/Give My Details To Other Companies?

A.M Speed Tuning will never pass any of your personal details onto any other company. We do not even use your contact details ourselves for any purpose other than dealing with your order. Full details of how we deal with your data are contained in our company Privacy Policy

No credit card or personal information will be retained on our computer databases once a transaction has been processed (except email address and name)

Q. Is Your On-Line Ordering System Secure?

A. We use the same state of the art 128 bit SSL encryption as all other reputable on line stores such as Amazon.com. Furthermore we do not retain your credit card information on any computer system once your order has been processed. To provide this level of security we have to obtain a digital certificate from a company trusted by Microsoft and Netscape in their browsers. The certification company we chose is Thawte, a Verisign company. To obtain such a certificate requires going through some fairly rigorous security checks to prove that we are who we claim to be.

When you are connected over a secure link you will see a small padlock in the status bar of your browser, get into the habit of checking it is there before entering any personal information or credit cards on-line, you will also see the domain name is prefixed with the letters https:// as oposed to the standard http://

If you are still unsure, simply place your order via the E-mail option on the Checkout page and call 01908 646325 and give us your Credit Card details.

Q. Do You Use Cookies To Track My Personal Data?

A. M Speed Tuning do not store any permanent cookie information on your local computer unless you click the Remember Me option on the Checkout page.

A cookie is a small file held on your local computer specific for a domain or url. It can contain personal information that a web site might use, so for example next time you arrive at a site it remembers your name, preferences. We only use this facility if you click the Remember Me option on the Checkout page.

Q. What Are The Terms & Conditions For Returning Goods?

A. Any faulty product may be returned to us within 14 days for replacement or a full refund.

Any product at all may be returned to us within 28 days for a full refund as long as the product has not been opened.

For an exchange or a refund, returns should be received by us or requested by you within 21 calendar days from the date your order was shipped and include the original packaging and be in the same condition as received.

We do not refund original shipping costs or your return shipping costs.

Q. How Is The Final Price Calculated?

A. All prices shown are shown exclusive and (inclusive) of VAT at a rate of 17.5%. except Books and other exempt items.

Unlike most companies we only charge a nominal £14.00 postage and packing per order, so you do not get penalised for a big order.

Q. How Do I Get An Order Sent To An Address Other Than My Own?

A. For security reasons and to prevent Credit Card Fraud we will not ship to an address other than that where the Credit Card used is registered.

Q. How Do I Complain If Something Goes Wrong?

A. If you have any reason for complaint, please Email or telephone us on 01908 646325. We will investigate your complaint and make an offer to resolve it within 48 hours, but usually much sooner.

Q. How Do I Cancel My Order?

A. To cancel an order please email or telephone us. It is helpful if you have the order reference. Any order may be cancelled before receipt or within 7 working days after the day of receipt for a full refund. Refunds will be made as soon as the goods are returned or within 30 days whichever happens sooner. Goods should be returned to us at the customers expense. We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking charge for cancelled orders.
